Rivair was founded in January 1982 by Vito Domenico Rizzi. The core business for over 40 years has been the centrifugal compressor. Rivair deals comprehensively with centrifugal compressors. Its work spans maintenance, overhauling, and selling spare parts, providing its service worldwide.
Robotic arm: Precision device with blue light owned by the company for reverse engineering of impellers, diffusers, pinions, main gears. Thanks to the internal use of the tool, precision drawings necessary for the creation of new and original spare parts are produced in a very short time.
Vibration analysis: The EMERSON CSI 2140 precision device owned by the company is used to perform vibration analysis of compressors. This allows for the delivery to the customer of actual 'radiographs,' complete with plots, of Rivair compressors.

1982
Vito Domenico Rizzi founded Rivair after more than 15 years of experience as a sales manager at the American company Ingersoll Rand, for which Rivair becomes one of the largest distributors in Italy.
1991
Rivair ends its collaboration with IR and becomes a Compair/Gardner Denver dealer.
2006
Barbara Rizzi takes the reins of Rivair, becoming its CEO and Owner.
2011
Rivair opens RIVAIR TR in Turkey. Ahmet Erbas, with his 20 years of experience in the field of centrifugal compressors, becomes the technical director, overseeing all of Turkey and Turkmenistan.
2013 - 2015
Rivair becomes the sole official Cameron distributor in Italy for centrifugal compressors.
2016
Rivair opens RIVAIR GULF FZE, a branch in Dubai, UAE, which oversees the business for the MENA regions, handling maintenance contracts with major companies in the Oil & Gas sector.
2019
Rivair participates as a silver sponsor at the Middle East Rotating Equipment Conference in Dubai.
